Serious theater director Janine (Amanda Seyfried) is tasked with recreating the most famous work of her former mentor, the opera “Salome”. Haunted by dark and disturbing memories of her past, Jeanine allows her repressed trauma to color her present when she re-enters the world of opera after many years.
