The plot is not yet known. On September 23, 2022, it was officially announced that Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein would be co-directing the project. The directing duo are avid fans of the series and went so far as to stage the death scene during a pre-shoot in-studio meeting via Zoom, using a combination of pre-recorded footage and visual effects, such as a fire and a malfunctioning spinning ceiling fan that broke off from the ceiling and decapitated one of the filmmakers.
