Synopsis
Need a lawyer? He drives his law firm in his Lincoln and is ready to step on the gas. He moves around Los Angeles handling cases while balancing a personal life that includes being a father and having two ex-wives. Originally set by CBS for a 2020 series, it was canceled shortly before filming the first episode due to COVID.

The film manages to capture his deep humanity amidst his flaws
This is a fun first season of the series, based on the novels by Michael Connelly. The duo of David Kelley and Ted Humphrey have managed to bring to the screen the courageous story of smart defense attorney Mickey Haller, his associates, and his family. The viewer can relate to the ups and downs of Haller’s legal career. However, they are impressed by his passion for the law and genuine concern for his clients.
The stories are well thought out and quite entertaining
In addition to Haller, all the other main characters are relatable: Cisco, Lorna, Maggie, Trevor Elliott, Hayley, and even Detective Griggs. The twists and turns keep the viewer’s attention while the drama resonates. In particular, the way Haller manages to decipher the magic bullet, connect one crime to another, and use it in court is brilliant. Serious students of criminal law and procedural law will certainly enjoy the law and the free tutorial it offers.
Get ready for season 2
We can’t wait to learn more about Haller’s life and firm.
