In Mumbai, nurse Prabha’s routine is restless when she receives an unexpected gift from her alienated husband. His younger roommate Anu tries to find in vain to find the city to be close to her boyfriend. Director Payal Kapadia and everything we imagine when the light gathers to share the most warm reactions of Cannes’s heart and so much more! The first Indian film to receive a prestigious Grand Prix event at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024. This film drama dramatizes many of the women living in Bombay and emphasizes their sustainability. All women here are nurses in the same hospital, but the similarity ends because each has their own special problems and can be said to be solutions. The desire, fear, repentance and tight patience are emotions that constantly alternate when the story quietly. Probably the biggest property is the script that offers unusually rich and thoughtful dialogues among characters. The amount of the plot only seems sufficient to provide a rack for conversations where people have the space to be unusually honest and unguarded with each other, even if they lie or post. The actor is evenly excellent and rises to the level of writing – there are no false notes, although there are some attractive loose heads. Photography and editing are also quite good at creating an atmosphere that is reflective and somewhat removed, complementing the characters’ quiet intensity ' interaction. The removal is confirmed at several points where the film seems to contain document elements or certainly creates such a feeling. I was not always crazy about music and Share.I controversial to another evaluator’s claim that this film was designed as “rewards.” In my opinion, this movie has too much heart and honesty to classify it as cynical or manipulative – certainly more than any other movie that aims to tell an important story in a compelling and beautiful way. And this movie takes a lot of risks that I can imagine going well in more religious and Puritanic India. I recommend “Everything we imagine as Light.”
