After a traumatic incident, a young medical student, James Smallwood, transferred to a rural hospital to start a new start through his residency. Watching that James is trying and difficult to contact patients, Doctor Harrison (stage veteran and screen actor Michael Potsts) suggest that he benefit from a class -oriented bed -oriented way and facilitate deeper relationships with patients. James’ past demons begin to catch up with him when he is consumed by a young asthma patient (Sidney Flanigan, never always always always) with mysterious symptoms. His grip reality begins to slip as his anxious nightmares, speculations promoted by anxiety and physical injuries face harsh reality of the medical world. Director Alex Thompson collects a strong veteran actors’ ensemble, observing Saint Frances-and Ghostlight’s predecessor-in the humanistic and unconventional vision of the genre.
