The fight scenes were powerful and breathtaking
There is a common saying that LoL’s big budget went into animation instead of balancing the champions in the game and that couldn’t be more accurate. I wasn’t expecting this masterful level of animation. After each episode, they found more ways to amaze the audience with amazing visuals and transitions. Even though the series wasn’t fully canonized with the original lore, it’s still an intense story that created an interesting universe. I’m not going to lie, the first act didn’t impress me much, but episode 4 after that got me fully on board.
I wanted more and I hate waiting
My only problem with the story was that I just couldn’t get enough of it. As cool as the animation was, the characters were. Many of the character dynamics fascinated me and made me realize how much I needed them. I admit that some of the characters were simple, but not all of them were predictable. Some still surprised me all the way through.
The direction for all of the characters was incredible
Overall, even though the game was a love-hate relationship, Arcane was definitely all love and a phenomenal step in creating LOLCU. 8.5/10.. I gathered all the anime series and movies I could find – created or distributed by Netflix – to see which ones ranked the best, according to IMDb users.
