Synopsis
After serving as a nurse in the British Army during World War II, Claire Randall spends her second honeymoon in Scotland with her husband Frank, an MI6 officer looking for a new career, and an Oxford historian. Suddenly, Claire is transported to a mysterious world in 1743, where her freedom and life are at risk. To survive, she marries Jamie Fraser, a Scottish warrior with a complicated past and a disarming sense of humor.
