Synopsis
A grieving therapist begins to tell her clients exactly what she thinks
She ignores her training and ethics, and discovers she’s making big changes in people’s lives – including her own.. The cast of “Downsizing” share their defining moments in Season 1 and reveal who did the best Harrison Ford impression.. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they brought Harrison Ford to the show, Siegel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford” type and would audition people like Ford.
Eventually, Goldstein spoke to Ford and sold him the role
Segel told Goldstein that they should pitch him to Ford first, figuring he would immediately reject it, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had brought the project, generating interest from other notable actors. His dry delivery is absolutely the best
Harrison Ford is simply amazing in this show! His dark demeanor and sharp tongue are now my life goal as I enter my old age. He’s hysterical and I need more of that in my life!!!
This show is so beautifully written
Also, if you’re a Jason Segel fan, you won’t be disappointed. It has well-rounded characters dealing with real issues. It hits all the feels and leaves you wanting more each week.
I can’t wait for season 2!
