Synopsis
A Montana ranching family faces more intrusions on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is an expert in the rodeo world. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” his Montana accent and reverts to speaking in his usual Southern California voice. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 Summer TV Shows That Aren’t on Your Radar (2018) Yellowstone is a solidly written drama—great characters, well-crafted—that takes its tone from a few modern masterpieces. It has the feel and cinematography of Longmire, the dark plot and outlook of The Sopranos, and the dramatic dynamics of shows like “Dynasty” or any other network drama of its kind. You have to give Costner and Cole Hauser a lot of respect—they bring 100%. I didn’t expect to be so drawn to this show. It’s worth your time.
